Pt. 1 - Neutral Ground

Nilesy ducked into the shelter of a small bunker as more primed TNT was fired into the battlefield, covering his ears as it exploded nearby and showered the bunker entrance with dirt and stone. His ears were ringing and his body ached from diving between bunkers created by previous explosions, and silently thanked the lord that no one had used their nukes yet.

jackalopemusic: I so want to know what Discworld is about. it&#8217;s kind of hard to explain what Diskworld is in a small amount but it&#8217;s a growing world. with each book it grows more and more. I&#8217;ll try to explain it as best i can:   Terry Pratchett is an interesting write how he has it set up is that there are different main character the books focus on (like color of magic and interesting time focusing on rincewind while guards guards and men at arms focusing on the night watch) but the farther you go on in the series the more the world is advanced. if something changes in one book (like a newspaper is started like in the truth) then it will be around from that point on and the main character might come up in other books(like the person who runs the newspaper has a conversation with Vimes(head of the night watch) a few books later. also Vimes has a tendency to pop up in other book but then most of the books are in the main city of ankh-morpork which is where he is technically head of police.)
